Our ratings are generated by an extremely complex algorithm that is the result of a development phase lasting several years. It is characterized in particular by the fact that it always provides the most adequate and objective results possible based on applied expertise. This complex algorithm was developed together with ETH engineers. In addition, the team of several sports enthusiasts has analyzed over 25,000 games, which has allowed the results to be verified and refined. The ratings were checked for correctness with thousands of checks from real fans and football experts.

The algorithm takes into account and analyzes numerous events and features of a match. In addition to goals, these include the number of shots on and off target, the number of blocked shots, yellow and red cards, VAR decisions, standings, the timing of match changes, win probabilities and their changes, and even specific influences of certain competitions, clubs, nations, and players. After thousands of hours, the magic formula was finally found, which neutrally and objectively judges how entertaining past games were. And all this for you out there, so you know which games are worth watching in replay!
